Here's my red N/A coupe I just picked up with a blown motor for $800. 61K miles and completely unmolested.

Anyone know of anyway to bring back the faded color until I get it repainted?

For your faded paint issue, mine looked almost the same when I got it. I used Meguiar's Color X applied with a buffer and spent a good amount of time on the actual polishing part. You can see how it turned out about halfway up this page. I'm sure there are ways that work better but for 10 bucks I think it turned out pretty good. On another note, feel like selling those wheels?

Thanks! I think I'll pick some up and a buffer and see how it turns out. The pinkish isn't doing it for me.

As for the wheels, sure, I'll sell em. There in perfect shape (no curb rash). I want to swap a set of vert wheels on the car or maybe a set of aftermarket 17"s anyway. What do they usually sell for?

Wow, lotta nice red s5's, but now you got me wondering, how rare is winning silver anyway? I don't really like it, but I think it's becaus it's faded all to hell and back, so I was considering repainting it, but if it's really rare, I may keep it winning silver. You know, just for asthetic reasons.
