if your wondering if it leaks or not, just cover the other end of the oil line and blow in the other. if you get pressure, then no leak. if you lose pressure blowing into the line, you have a leak. easy? or too hard of a task?

Well, one guy mentioned it. Do not paint the cooler. Any paint will reduce the cooler's efficiency. Ever seen an air cooled engine painted from factory? Probably not.

Bend the fins back. As stated, the rods is where the oil flows through. But you want the fins straight so air goes through the cooler. The fins are there to increase the surface area to the air passing by and get the heat away from the rods.

+1... What color are Koyo, Fluidyne, or hell, even the good ol aluminum stocker radiators?

Just checkin.

And +1 on the fin straightener. More air flow through will make for a nice cooler. I think it'd benefit most stock coolers because lotsa sand and rocks and **** get stuck up in there.

okay checked if the oil cooler for leaks and nada. So all I have to do now is wait for the jegs tool and straighten out those fins and degrease the oil cooler
