After having an engine that had oil pressure problems...the stock gauge will never do.

I just finished ordering the pineapple racing Dual EGT gauge about 5 minutes ago. I think those will defintly help save your engine. Like stated above a A/F wideband is good but it only tells you the average A/F from both chambers. With the dual EGT gauge you can tell if just one rotor is leaning out or whats going on.

For my N/A I was thinking...

Oil Pressure
Water Temp
Oil Temp

and maybe...

Fuel Pressure

A wideband and EGT would be kind of cool to have, but not really useful. Nothing I would spend money on. Of course, I can always switch them to a TII when I get one. But... I need money for that first.

How do the sensors plug up to read the separate chambers? Are there dual wideband o2 sensors or what?

I don't really get it...

Ah... So they would each go in the runners of the exhaust mani and before the turbo then?

Must only work with an aftermarket or custom exhaust manifold, right?

I havnt gotten it yet.. Just put the order in for it a few minutes ago.. should be here by this weekend. But its not wideband O2sensors..This kit comes with two probes (kind of like water temp probes) that tell you how hot the exhaust gasses are. You have to tap (1) 1/8" NPT in each of the exhaust manifold runners, Then you screw the probes into each one. As seen in the pics below of my manifold. The lil brown spray paint circles is where ill tap the fittings to screw in the two probes.

My top 2 picks:

Oil pressure (if the stock one works, I'd keep it. I basically use it as a warning light. If its dad in the water I know somethings up.....but if it doesn't work - you NEED this gauge or a warning light.)
Water temp. For me in the S4 TII I'm using the stocker because it works, and unlike the S5 has a much more healthy pallate to view from. In the S5, once its past half - you've probably already done some damge. At least, thats been my experience. But again - if you don't have this - you NEED it.

Really, this is all you need if you're going to be a true minimalist. But a boost gauge will help since you will be running a T4, I'd want to keep an eye on boost levels.

But my spread in my car is as follows:

Stock oil press.
Stock water temp.
AEM wideband----->a-pillar
Boost----->a-pillar
PR Dual EGT----->in the door vent

No clutter in the center section at all. The only thing I would liek to get eventually would be an oil temp. gauge.............but I'm out of "un-used" real-estate in the cabin at the moment.

Can be used with the stock exhaust mani then for a stock turbo, or for when a turbo upgrade is in order? Sounds pretty sweet!

Good stuff... and I don't see why it couldn't be used with the Haltech... As long as you have enough inputs for it.

I am interested, as well.

I have 2 bezel gauges. Water and oil temp, I think temp is more important than pressure because if the pressure drops the temp is going to go up.
