left side rear wheel sqeaking

okie on my 91 n/a fc
i've noticed a sqeaking noise on the left rear wheel.. now i've jack the car up and turn the wheel by hand and it sqeaks. but it does sound like its coming from the brake rotor. but there is a certain part of the rotor that doesn't make the sound when im turning it ( the wheel) slowly. i think its only heard at 5mph and lower. and it dissappears when I go pass that. ( thats when im driving)
im thinking its either 2 things

1. the rotor needs to be shaved and balanced.
2. the pads are dragging on rotor.

what do you think? thank you for the help

It could be a warped rotor like you said, but it usually is more prominent as you go faster. Do the brakes vibrate when you stop? If not, then it's not the rotor.

If the brakes were dragging it would pull in some way.

I did have a problem with the dust shield touching the rotor when I hit a cat once. Pull the wheel off when it's jacked up and check it over.

Also, how much pads are left? some aftermarket pads have wear markers.
