Leaving emissions in fumes
i have an 87 n/a and bought the staight pipe from mazdatrix. I have a Bönez intake and ngk platinum plugs. I want my car to be as fast as possible and i dont give a **** about the environment (at least as far as my car goes). So i want to get rid of all the emissions stuff, but i have no idea about the valves, air pump, etc. What exactly would i be taking off and how? Thanks

ACV, EGR, Rat's nest, air pump, split air tube.
EDIT::: You need to buy/make block off plates for all the valves and seal them off. the pump just disconnects and the belt comes off.the split air tube comes off too it is hooked to the LIM

I have a follow up question then... do you need to plug up the air hose going into the engine on the exhaust side? If so, does that acutate the 5/6th ports? - so then you'd need to setup the mod to open them.

dammit!!
I usually remember this. I am not aware if the race pipe supports the actuation of the auxilary ports. I know the RB pre-silencer and the duals do but I have never heard of anything about the race pipe. if the car is an S4 he will need to find out if the race pipe supports this. there is a little rubber hose from the split air tube to the actuators. S5 cars don't need that but you need to keep the pump for S5 cars.
