leather seat covers available at leatherseats.com

I was inquiring about the vert leather, looks like they can do 2nd gen's now, here's the response they sent me:
We are delighted to see that you are interested in our products and
services. We can build you a leather interior for your Mazda RX-7 for
$579.00 + shipping. Two-toning is available for $30.00 and the perforated
centers option is available for $50.00. Shipping is generally about $25.00
per kit.

These covers are OEM spec and are made to install in place of your
factory seat covers. Once installed they will look and fit just like a
factory leather interior. We sell an installation kit that includes the
hog-ring pliers, hog-rings, and the super-adhesive upholstery glue for
$35.00.

Be sure and visit our website at www.leatherseats.com for in depth
information on the product, applications, colors, and even installation
procedures. I will attach some pics of our pattern in Black leather with
perforated centers and headrest wings, let us know what you think. To speak
to a sales rep or to order a leather interior for your vehicle please call
toll FREE 1-866-NEW-SEAT (1-866-639-7328). We look forward to doing
business with you soon.

Regards,
Eric

Is that per seat? Wouldn't it be similarly priced to just get some aftermarket bucket seats?

Yeah I've been promising Eric @ leatherseats.com I'd buy some 2-tone seat covers from him. I was planning to be the ginny pig & post pics since those who've bought from them haven't posted pictures of their installs.

I haven't decided between OEM perforated or solid, and I'll probably have a 2nd company in Atlanta embroider these with the RX-7 & Cabriolet logos (they have liability issues with that).

It's next of my to do list, hopefully soon.

That price is per pair of buckets but no installation. I've got quotes of 1200-1500 for local guys to redo my '88 vert buckets.

I have a friend that sells authentic mazda leather seat covers for about $150 for the vert. He's got a lot of black ones right now. I think he's still got an ebay auction going for one of them... ok it's over but he's got more

Looks like that is only one side bottom. If he has both sides top and bottom in gray or black let me know.

export-auto-parts.com has some but I could never find a set.

So for $579 a set these seem like a good deal, I can't get anyone in NY or NJ to come close to that.

Maybe we can get a group deal if anyone else is interested?
