it will tell you that a normal compression tester WILL NOT give you any sort of accurate reading on you rotary engine and that any one trying to figure out there compression should stop being a cheep *** and get it done at the dealership accuratly

right ...ok...if I want an accurate compression test, like to include in selling my vehicle or something technical, I agree Only the Mazda test will give an accurate reading, BUT, if I am just testing to find a problem and see if I have 3 even bounces and an approx of the reading then a boinger comp testor is just fine for 25$ or whatever(actually had one in my garage for years). People have been doing it this way for 20+ years on RX7's to check for blown apex seals.
I do sort of understand your post now but you learned me nuttin I didnt know.

(I am sick today so also apoligize if I have sounded rather bitchy hehehe)

A regular piston compression checker with the shrader valve removed is a fantastic compression tester if you use it right. The mazda one isnt nessisarily more accurate, it just 'remembers' each seperate compression 'stroke' individually. A regular compression tester is fine and accurate.

First, the piston tester works you just have to know how to use it. Second, your post didn't make any sense, learn to explain better. Third, who goes to the dealership for a compression test?

Your post should have been:

I think all we are learning on this thread is that people using this forum have bad grammar.
