lean as hell??

so my car had been running lean as hell(17.9 afr) from idle until 3500 then secs kick in and afrs are like high 10 low 11 so i thought it was my tps out of adjustment. So i checked voltage at tps and found out tps was bad so i replaced it. well it solved my hot start prob, but still lean as hell. now my check coolant level is on and ps doesnt work all the time. Any suggestions?
I heard that p/s and temp wrer tied in with tps and could cause problems

thanks, vato2000taco (rip toyota taco-ma)

Clean your fuel-injectors...? TPS wouldn't have anything to do with starting (hot or cold), so you didn't fix your hot-start problem (if all you did was replace your TPS).

Another thing, you do know that the TPS is adjustable, right? Like, if you "check the voltage" and it's "wrong", you can adjust it... Do you mean it was out of spec?

Tip: Top off your coolant and power-steering fluid.

If your car is stock and your emissions system is working as designed, then those ratios are normal. The air pump is dumping air into the exhaust manifold to clean up unburned hydrocarbons (by burning them). All this air will make the sensor read lean.

Wow... are your primary injectors in OK shape? You should probably run some Techron (fuel injector cleaner) through it on a full tank of gas.

Also, look at Aaron Cake's post.
