Leaking from somewhere

Okay, I've been having a serious idle problem and I'm almost certain it's due to some vacuum leak somewhere because you can hear it SOOOOO loud. It's a VERY loud hiss when you rev it up. So here's my question:

I found where that hiss is coming from, you know the front bumper and the rotor on the passenger side (right), right underneath the bumper, where the vent for the brake rotor is, that's where it's spewing out air like crazy, but it's not spewing the air towards the rotor from the front, in the middle of the vent, it's spitting out a LOT of air downwards, but the direction of the air could be coming from anywhere. Can anyone tell me where this might be coming from? Boost leak, maybe? What is down there that's blasting out so much air?

theres a muffler for the air pump down around there if im right and that might be broken or a hose came off my only suggestion is to rip all the emission crap off it which is ok in nz but probbably not over there.

I plan to take off all emissions anyway. But yeah, so you think that's broken? That air coming from there is not normail, right?

disconnect your smog pump belt and see if the hissing goes away.

good call wankler. It will probably still idle funny until the air pump is fully blocked off though.
