TX Leaking heater core???

So basically I was driving last night and the something just pissed coolant all over my leg which I assume is the heater core. Only problem is that it hasn't happened again since then. So my question(s) would be:

1) Is it the heater core?
2) If not, what is it?
3) What exactly will happen besides spilling coolant if I don't fix it?
4) Could this be what's leaking into my exhast causing it to smoke and fill up the cabin of my car when I drive?

Thanks in advance.

The only thing i can think of that would "**** coolant" on your leg is the hose that enters the firewall behind the engine, near the oil pedestal. That hose goes from under the oil filter(drivers side of engine) to the firewall(heater core).
That hose takes a beating, and the clamps are usually the culprit.

There's nothing else it could be other than a heater core or line going to it. Pull the dash and see what's going on.

A leaky heater core will not leak into the exhaust, but if the passenger side line is leaking it could drip down onto the exhaust.
