leading coil pack

leading coil pack

i am having problems with my leading coil pack and need help. it dosent work but the trailing one does i already replaced it once and could use some help if smeone would take pics of theirs with the wires installed that would help.

Your ECU is under a panel where the passengers put their feet. Pull back the carpeting and remove the panel. BTW, go to the link in the FAQ for downloading the factory service manual. You will need it in the future and it's free.

i got a black w\ yellow stripes and an green with yellow or white stripe do those wires go strait to the ecu or somewhere else before that?

The coil assy's have to be bolted to the chassis for the circuitry in the ignitor to have a ground i.e. work.

The single bullet connector on the assy should never be grounded. It's a test port.

EDIT: What I really meant to say, is, download the factory service manual from the web for free and look at the fuel section and the engine electrical sections and while your at it download the wiring schematics. It'll make life easier on you and you won't have to wait for answers on a forum.
