launching techniques

hey i was just wondering what type of techniques you guys are using to launch your car.

I just rev up to around 3500 rpm and dump the clutch. I find I get the best results doing that.

what would the best way to launch to get the max life out of a clutch?

heat being the foe for a clutch, will releasing slowly cause for harm?
what is the best rpm?

i think slipping the clutch kills it on launches. If you dump it, the tires spin but the clutch grips right away and doesnt wear as much.

I have 6 ports wired open and launch at 4k with 215/60 14H rated tires. This ends up in the tires spinning till i get over 4k and then the car goes.
Anything under that and it bogs.

Usually my front license plate that i keep on the dash just behind the windsheild will fly out on launch.

Im guessing i run mid - low 15's.
