Angry Launched the car, heard a THUNK!

Let me guess... I broke a diff mount? Everytime you hit or release the gas pedal, there is a big CLUNK in the right rear area of the car.....

Im not sure if the 86 NA mounts would work. Do the open difs and lsd's have the same mount positions?

yeah. the differential has a front mount. That is what usually breaks. If you keep breaking them, WELD It.

When I had my side draft dellorto on a streetported motor, I broke 2 good welds after the "normal" mount was replaced 2 times.

Mines welded on two sides using substantial plate to bridge the gaps. Breaking is not a concern of mine.

Well the plan is to just weld it, but I need some example pictures before I just jump right into it.

Orrrrr don't do it half-assed and do it the right way pinion snubber and comp mounts. I don't think I've heard of this setup breaking, but yet I've heard of several welded ones snapping. Also, the is less vibration with a proper mount.
