Have you considered putting a wire mesh grill over the opening?

To bad the lip doesn't sit flush with the rest of the body.

No mesh for me. Looks too ricey IMO, I dont drive the car that much to have to worry about a whole bunch of **** getting in there?

Lip doesnt sit flush? The cars getting all the body work done along with a new paint job in 3 weeks. So any improfections you see I assure will gone in a month.

Yeah, I would've personally gone with leaving more front bumper in place. Maybe it'll be more appealing when the car is painted.

Love the IC though.

The more air you get through that thing the better. I like it, and think it will owrk very well.

Exactly. Ever since I cut the bumper the water temp hasn't risen above 180degs. and my intake temps went down 5degs.

I guess you removed the bumper behind it? I should cut mine up higher. I probbably couldn't go very far with the bumper could I?

Thumbs up

WOW! Your car looks amazing! I think you did a perfect job opening up the front bumper - and it's not too much at all!!
Do you have any pics of your engine bay, other than your signature pic?

Yo,

Looks great! As always, your car is on the short list for "TII's I would own."

I'd be interested to see what it looks like with the factory Mazda S5 lip vs. the FEED copy. The nice thing about the FEED is you can use those ducts for the front brakes because your stock ones are all full of IC piping.

As always, looks and goes great!

That thing definately makes a statement. I still have the vid of it doing 11.8 at the track and it sounds like a mad bee.

Did you increase the exit area for the cooling airflow? Ie an exit scoop in the hood? This will help your cooling even further if not yet implemented.

looks great man!

how far is Reading from North NJ?

i guess you had to remove the foam bumper reinforcements? I always wanted to cut the FEED mouth in the molding (to go with the lip) but still am not sure if I should, haha...
