lasting with bad coolant seals?
lasting with bad coolant seals?
its starting to get chilly here in minnesota.
so i started my car this morning to go to class,
and it was shooting smoke out the exhaust,
it went away after it warmed up.
so its pretty much guaranteed that my seals are starting to go bad right?
i dont have any money, so i was just wondering how long does the car stay drivable before starting to really burn up tons of coolant.
i know i need a rebuild, but i dont start work for another couple weeks, and even after its going to be a good couple months before i save up enough for a rebuild.

man it was probally just condensation out of your exhaust. It will smoke a lil because of the temp contrast to your exhaust pipe. Sort of like seeing your breath when it is cold.
well was it doing it when it was warm outside? Everycar will look it blown when you first start it when it is cool outside. People always assume the worst with these engines.
