"Last Minute" Advice
Well im finally putting in my new engine and exhaust system in on Monday (street port 13B) but before I call the place thats doing the work I needed some advice before I decide to devote the rather large amount of cash towards the car. I have an 87 and it isn't runnning because of completely blown coolant seals, I'm wondering if it would be worth it to sell my car for around $350-500 (it's in otherwise good condition) and use the money I would be putting into it to try and find a 89-91 FC with 80-110k miles on it instead, to get the extra 20 HP without putting in a new engine. Just wondering what your opinions are. My FC also has no ABS or Airbags and I would get a good decrease on my insurance if I got a new car with both of them.
Oh, and does one type of rotor tend to blow apex seals more often? (S4 vs. S5)
I'm kinda new to this so if some of my info is incorrect please say so.

It all depends on the condition of the S5. I liked my S5, but it does weigh more, so the extra power dosen't make it any faster.
S4/S5 seals are subject to the same circumstances.
The biggest issue is coolant maintenance during all it's prior miles.
Turbos are harder seals.
The big unknown is the cause of the seal failure - are the housings going to be reusable?
