Proper balancing is also a HUGE contributor to vibrations...you really need a good tech to properly balance a wheel. I went through 3 places before I found a local tire shop (an independent shop) that correctly balanced the 17's on my Galant VR4. They used to have hub centering rings, but we lost them long ago...but thanks to the proper balance, there are no high speed vibrations. Plus, on one of the front wheels I'm missing a stud so that wheel is held on by 3 lugs (4 lug pattern, 4x114.3) and there is STILL no vibration. I'll eventually get another lug, I need a couple more B.S parts from mitsu anyway...
