Last conversion question

This will be the last question about the TII conversion. As stated before i have an 89 gxl and i am swapping in a 87 TII engine. I have read all post and everyone has been very helpful and i think im ready to go my last question is, a guy told me that if i get a s5 turbo ecu i can use my na wiring harness and just ad a couple wires. Is this true or do i need to still yank out every wire from the TII and swap it into the gxl. Thanks to everyone who helped

U might be able to work it out with your S5 NA harness and S5 TII ECU, but u will have to cut connectors (S5 injector conectors will not work on S4 injectors and u need to use them. As well check other connectors and sensors (Air temp, water temp, TPS etc...)
