Umm, a laser doesn't make a sound . Be more descriptive about what the sound was and maybe someone can help you'

Sounds like an HKS Type-R BOV to me

It's probably a blow off valve...the Type-R blow off valves are known for their "laser" type sound (I don't think they are made for performance, just for sound..with added performance from a stock BOV though of course).
