large battery cable

Ok, somehow the large battery cable coming off the + side got cut, and i'm wondering if anyone knows where exactly it goes so i can replace it.

I tried following it but all i can see is it goes down the drivers side, and then it looks like it goes under the engine. From there i loose it. Anyone have a clue of where it goes, and also, what i should do to replace it? It looks like it and a couple other cables are wrapped in electricians tape, should i just cut the tape off, follow the wire, and re-tape it, or is it some special other kind of material?

thanks for any help

it is right under the carheld on by two bolts and a wire conector. i just replaced mine. just throw it up on some ramps, and crawl under. it looks like a oil filter style cylinder, with a smaller one attatched to it, it is mounted near your flywheel near the front, sorry man you will need to do this job from under the car.
