Kyokugen lug nuts

I was given a brand new package of Kyokugen lug nuts for my car. I tried to put them on and they didn't fit. Are they universal? The sizing is 12x1.25.

I have a 4 lug FC. Am I just not being patient enough with putting them on?

Thanks for any help, I see these lug nuts going for like $50 bucks on eBay, so I'm somewhat curious.

Nissan's use 12x1.25. You could probably sell them to some 240SX owner, they came in 4 lug too.
