KYB suspension problem

I ordered a set of kyb agx struts and have installed them. For some reason the rear springs are about an inch smaller in width than the spring mount on the sturts. Ive also noticed when i hit pot holes both rear struts/shocks make a racket like something is very loose. Any ideas on what may be the problem? It would be much appreciated. BTW the rubber bump stops are NOT installed because i ordered new ones. Is this where the noise is coming from?

Hi, I posted the same question last week. Only got one answer. My Eibach springs I installed with my AGX didn't fit right either. The lower perch on the struts are wider than the new springs. I was told not to worry about it.

I am going to check on them this weekend to see how my week of driving may or may not have affected the strut.

The springs are a bit smaller diameter than the OEM.
KYB says there is nothing they can do.

The clunking racket you hear could just be a bad bushing. I had a really bad clunk on my FD from a worn control arm bushing at 100k miles. My current FC has a clunk similar on the rear passenger side.

Im expecting some springs to come tomarrow. Hopefully they will fit in the agx's lower perch. I took a look at the struts today and they spring bounced off the perch from the pot holes in my driveway. This is NO GOOD. I dunno y kyb would make a strut that doesnt fit with the OEM springs. IF i continue to have this problem im gonna have to source some other suspension. Please, any1, HELP!

My Tokicos had the Suspension techniques bounce and rotate off the perch. The set-up is just too stiff to be practical for MN roads now I think. I wouldn't rule out a worn bushing though.
