I bought Tiens with KYB GR-2's up front and AGX rear. The fronts rubbed on mine too but my rims were 17" with +42 offset. I had to run with the stock RX7 5 star rims (1990 I think) till I bought coilovers.
Check to see the offset of the Turbo rims? if they are greater than +40 then it may be just a matter of rim choice as stated earlier.
I personally dont recommend spacers though. If you are just going to cruise your 7 they are cool...but if you want to push it there may be vibration issues that wont go away no matter how tight and balanced you try to get them? Just my opinion. I am no expert though.

okay so I am definitely trying to sell these Teins now, I just want ones that fit correctly no matter what.
The stock TII rims are 16 x 7 +40, I was planning on running either 17 x 7.5 +25 or17 x 7.5 +30 or 17 x 8 +25 in the near future.
Is anyone else running non turbo springs on their turbo?
Anyone have the Tanabe GF210's how are they?? I'm seriously leaning towards the GF210's or the Eibach's as of now instaed of tryign to run these non turbo springs.

I mounted the stock springs for now with the Agx's until i can source the tanabe, or more like till i can afford the tanabes. they don't rub with the stock springs, but it it's close like 3/4" between the tire and the bottom spring seat when it's up on jack stands.

I have not gotten my car finished to the point of getting it back on the ground but I did put the front tires on to check the clearance between tire and springs.
As stated earlier I have the KYB AGX struts with the Eibach Pro Kit Springs.
Up in the air when I put the tires on I found there is VERY LITTLE clearance, like I can't a fingertip between tire and spring. They don't seem to touch but damn they are close. I hope that improves when it gets on the ground.
I have the stock T2 wheels that came on the 88 model and they are wrapped with Kuhmo 225 x 50 x 16. I see at least one other member who posted on this thread was / is running the same strut / spring / tire size combo. Since the tires are almost new I hate to have to replace the fronts with a less wide size (mainly cause I want to be able to rotate). Anyone else have the experience, I want to know how close is too close.

I had the same springs and same trouble on my NA Sport model. I now have 1/2 inch spacers in front with the needed longer studs. By the way I emails Tein also and never got a reply back.
Been running them in my SCCA F Prepared autox car for more than a year now without any other problems with Tokico Illumina Shocks.
