Koyo now uses aluminum plugs for there radiators as well now. The first Koyo I picked up years ago has plastic plugs and the one I picked up about 4 years ago has aluminum.

My 2 yr old Koyo has a plastic plug (that needs replacing), so it appears they've reverted back to plastic. Just sharing my situation.

i shared this in the other thread as well- but if you break the plug DONT DRILL IT

take a flathead screwdriver and heat the tip up real good, now insert it into the plug and hold it in place for a little while, then remove it. Let it cool and just turn the plug out
