Koyo Radiator Silly question sorry

The Koyo radiator just arrived 2day, Im want 2 get a jump start on that south Florida heat. Myquestion is should I use more coolant because the Core is obviously thicker. and yes i searched.

not silly, but odd.

Yes, you need to use more fluids since the volume of the core is greater. Just top it off.

What ratio of distilled water/coolant are people running in warm climates? I usually run 75 % water and 25% antifreeze with one bottle of watter wetter. I'm in Las Vegas with summer temps over 100 deg all summer

i like to put in 60% coolant and 40% water cuz i've noticed when i put more water than coolant, it drips out of the radiator. i believe its the condensation but i dont wanna take the chance of overheating so i put in more coolant. i could (and most likely) be wrong but that's just me.

If anything is dripping out of the radiator you have other problems (leak, crack in the radiator).
