Koyo Radiator Insanity
As some may know, purchased '89TII new and a few weeks ago the upper radiator tank let go, so replacement needed.
After some research and information gathered, decide to go with the Koyo HH06043 N series. Radiator delivered, installed,
and when trying to fit the fan shroud, noticed that the inlet tube was 3/4" to the left when compared to the original rad, so
shroud wouldn't fit correctly. I then thought to test fit the factory air intake tube and the unit actually covered the water inlet.
Called Koyo and although the website states original fitment, no modifications needed, after some discussion they finally
stated that the N series will only fit with modifications. Shroud needs to be trimmed and factory air intake can't be used.
I then contacted the supplier to return the unit and get the non N radiator. They in turn contacted Koyo and can't believe
what they have requested of me.
The radiator is like new, no marks, bent fins etc, but Koyo wants me to take 2 pictures of the unit then destroy the radiator.
This is nuts, but when I send them pictures of the destroyed radiator, they'll send me the correct unit.
I find it ridiculous to destroy the radiator, but if that's the only way I'm going to receive a new unit, guess I'll need to comply.

^what this guy said, buy a **** Koyo, **** it up, keep and sell urs, then get a new one LOL if people are gonna be dumb enough to basically give you money, then **** em
well, in many cases it costs more to ship something than it costs to manufacture a new one.
while a koyo may wind up costing a consumer about $350, they make them for about $15.
but trust your gut, since it isn't koyo that you are directly dealing with and you could very easily get screwed.

I work at the local Dodge Dealer here in town and we're told all the time to "Scrap/destroy at Dealer", and the reasoning is so that dumpster divers cant get their hands on it and use a "Faulty" part. Basically they dont want their crap parts in the public hands because they have a reputation to protect lol.

Destroying it is risky, I have had to do this with a spoiler that was not fitting right. They may do a follow up before the refund as they did with my spoiler. I used eBay for the kit though and it was hell, you seem to be working direct with Koyo and that might make it easier.
There are however many pictures of dead koyos that can be used... I might have one lol
