Can't go wrong with a Koyo rad. Proven time and again as a great reliability mod.

I think you should take it slow and learn a little more about cars in general before you start attempting to mod the hell out of your car. The radiator is nice just for the upgraded cooling capacity it has over the stock one.

i was also thinking about putting in a koyo rad in my car. the one i was looking at was about $350. aftermarket radiators have about 30-40% more cooling than stock. my question is what are the benefits of it? i know cooling is obvious but does it lead to longer engine life? whats the point? i want to know before i spend my money.

If a Radiator Is more efficient In the area of disipatating heat, than yes, this will have a prolonged effect of the Motor. Heat Is the enemy. Besides, you will notice an additional effect aswell upgrading due to being a byproduct of ridding yourself of a 13yr old+ Radiator.

you dont really need the koyo yet and its a waste at almost $400 untill you have an engine creating enough heat to have to worry about it. I mean it knocks off some weight but you could use that money on some much more needed stuff
