The brackets on the original should be removed and put on the new unit. That's how it worked for me.

Me too used original brackets but be gentle so you don't hit your condensor like I did and had to replace that too. Also I would change my upper, lower and heater hoses and clamps

Just unbolt the side straps from the OE rad, and bolt it to the Koyo. Nice and easy.

I had to do some modifications to my stock brackets to get them to fit the Koyo... grind out the holes because the spacing was different on the Koyo.... I'm not sure, but i think it may be an s4 / s5 problem... (as in, i have an s4... did they send me an s5??) dunno. have nothing for comparison.... but it still was easy.

Yeahm I'd definately replace those hoses. Theres one in particlar that is likely to fail because the oil drips on it when you change the oil filter.

The bolt holes on bracketry on the S5 OE rad are closer together, So, if you were fitting an S4 Koyo with S5 straps, then the holes need to be ground further out from each other.

If your fitting an S5 Koyo on S4 brackets, then you need to grind the holes closer to each other.
