i also have a fluidyne on my S4 TII

I have a mazda thermostat and clutch fan/shroud.

she doesn't even get up to 1/4 on the guage (not sure on exact temp readings)

Bolt in and cools VERY well. I can't even get alot of heat in the winter.........

Koyo all the way!!!!!

I have Koyo with stock fans... my FC is pretty modded at around 280-290rwhp and I had never seen the water temp go above 180-190 whatever I do

Minor modifications are required for the mounting brackets.

get the koyo from www.absoluteradiator.com and it is about 315 shipped and comes with the fan shroud mounting hardware free. Every thing, I mean everything was an exact fit! Very nice! All you have to do is cut the rad hoses a little because of the thickness of the koyo! Absolute radiator was very nice and shipped fast!

Don't know about the Fluidyne, however the mounting brackets have to be swapped on the Koyo. The Koyo is a better radiator IMHO, as it's a dual pass design.

You like the Koyo cuz' I was the one who installed it!!

I say Fluidyne, its a perfect drop in fit. Fitting the Koyo took me nearly an entire Saturday. The stock fan shroud wasn't even close to fitting to the radiator, needed custom mounts an even then it was a bit precarious. If you don't mind fiddling around with mounts and have the time to spend to make it fit right, the Koyo is fine.

I'd rather spend the extra money and have an easy install. Functionally, both will do the job so performance-wise one isn't better then the other.

Koyo's fine for street stuff, it's not quite enough for the track for me.

I'm curious, what are you running as far as radiators go on your track car?

LOL. True, true. If I had to do the install, I might not like it as much

I don't understand where you guys had the problem with the koyo, mine was a drop in fit. Took the stock side straps off the old one and installed right in with no problems. Then put the mounting kit on for the fan shroud and bam, worked right away. did it in like 30 minutes, huh ow well *shrugs*

Right now a Koyo..

230 water temps is too high

Looking at options, may go with a custom griffin and fab my own mounts.
