Knock sensors and Verts

While wiring in my S-AFCII today i came upon an amazing discovery. My vert has a stock knock sensor. At first i thought maybe the wire was just there and not doing anything, but i wired it in anyway and it gets a signal! Totally nuts and completely unexpected!

No NA engine has a knock sensor. If you've used a Turbo ECU wiring diagram and connected to pin 2M (which is the knock sensor on the Turbo ECU) then you're now monitoring the VDI solenoid...
