knock control unit
When going E6K do you still need the factory knock control unit?. My car is disabled at the moment and somebody needs a knock control unit so bad. I want to help him out because im gonna go standalone (E6K) soon. Thanx..

Nope, you don't need it with the E6K - that's control unit is an input to the stock ECU, and the E6K wouldn't have any idea what to do with it.
They rarely go bad, and aren't in demand. Really, I would just get about $20 or so for it.
