Klunking from rear sway bar aftermarket??

So i just put new suspension on. Bought it from a guy with a s5. I have a s4. Anyways shocks struts are perfect, front sway bar awesome, but this new beefier rear sway bar keeps klunking everytime i go over a bump. When I turn I can barely hear anything if nothing at all. I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this also and what they did? I took a peak under the car and I see metal scraped off the chassis but just barely. Is there anything I can do without doing some make shift **** to my rx. Thanks

did you put new bushings in when you installed the suspension?

Check that the bolts connecting the sway bar to the end links may be too long and scraping the chassis. Also, lube the sway bar bushings. That's the only way I can thing a sway bar would make noise.

the sway bar bushings are fine. These are my guesses.
Endlink bushings are bad?
I tightened all the bolts down too tight? so the sway bar endlinks arn't keeping the sway bar from bouncing around and hitting the body?
Also it only klunks when I go over bumps. I looked at the sway bar and its almost resting on the body?? could it be klunking when the car rebounds?Which would mean and s5 sway bar isn't able to go on a s4??

I'm pretty sure S5 and S4 sway bars are interchangeable. Aftermarket ones don't make any differentiation so I doubt there is a fit issue.
Where and what shape is the 'scraped metal'? In the wheelwell or underneath the car?
Also, if the rear suspension was missing a spacer, it would clunk over bumps as well. I did this during some experimentation to lower the rear. Check for excessively play i the top hat when unloaded. It should spin but not flop around.

Its underneath the car where the sway bar settles underneath. I have spacers on all endlinks to bolts. Also they are tight and not flopping.
Ill take pictures when I get it onto a lift

Make sure when you put on the sway bar and the new bushings that you put on a lubracant gel. I had the same thing and it just wasn't lubed.

Could the sway bar be mounted upside down? Not sure if it will fit, but worth a look.

Nope I looked in the haynes manuel at the direction. I got under the car the other day and pushed/pulled the car up and down and pin pointed the noise. Its defiantly the sway bar knocking against the car on jounces and rebounds. Its more of a sliding motion against the car. Maybe the sway bar is too big?
