DUDE!

I dont think it looks ricey!
REALLY

You kept all the stock looks and used a kit that moderized the lower valence!

A place that needs updating.

Hell, I'll be paying attention to this area too.

Any more pics?

That wing is a bit much, it looks a bit out of place..
Clearly its unnessicary. (Actually screams "over the top")

the wipers? are those white/chrome?

You WILL be painting it a decent scheme right?

Even somthign flashy is cool if its done like a pro.
But stock red would be cool too.

-edit-

I just saw that your painting it BRONZE.

Youre on a roll man...
Would you be opposed to another color?

The 80's are over.. i dont think a GOLD derivitive is a good idea.

Do you have other colors in mind?

sniper x thank you for the comment......
the color is a darker bronze with a very fine metallic in it, i dont want to draw too much attention but want people to realize that the car has some **** done to it.....i want the car to be jdm stlye so im keeping it a suttle color and all monochromatic.......

My thoughts were that if it were a less "flashy" color, then the "sleeper" effect would be closer to being acheived.

I saw a Honda S2000 on the import tuner mag the other day and thought that a custom paint job like that would even be okay..

If the car was an tru example of performance, it would almost be celebratory to have that kind of paint job.

All my cars are strong drivers, stock colors.

When I build the "badass beast" (when I get a new job) I will probably go completely black.

I would depart from the stock look at the wheels and nose.

All in an attempt to update the cars appearance, while giving in to the fact that non-stock tires will be required to lay the power down.

Otherwise a sleeper.

One MIGHT POSSIBLY mistake it for a car that was modded for appearance only, but this car would be a living breathing 3-rotor. (With a quiet exhaust when it needs to be)

I hope to have a servo tuned silencer on a switch.

Your car has a nose that I want for my 2nd gen project.
Looks modern.

Il will go back to stock though on the paint.
But all cusom electronics inside and out.

At a glance stock as well. but once inside, hopefully a few modern parts from newer dashboards will be integrated. (i hope that the lexus system isnt too integrated, but it prolly is!)\

I just love leaving them wondering...
"What just happened?!"

You know, make it so they have no idea whats about to trounce them.

Hey, i was wondering, could you post a pic of the color of paint? I'm trying to visualise it, but every car i've ever seen that's gold-based has looked pretty bad, so when i try to picture it more of a gun-metal grey with gold tinting or something, i only see a muddy, orangish color.. can you maybe post a swatch from photoshop or something?

oh, and BTW: that front looks nice

ack.

I just cant see gold on a car looking good.

Unless the car is from the 50's- 60's, a creeper/chopped car, i would reserve metal flake for bass boats.

Is there somwhere that we can see other colors on this nose/kit?

Anyone?
Ideas?

Well, if the matter is up for vote, i'd definatly say stay away from that color also.. If not, then, i still think that front will look nice when it's all uniform color : )

Im that ignorant ****...real classy . Most people who have body work and paint done have it done at the same time, in order to avoid riding around with your car looking like Frankenstein...as it does in the pic.

I never said it wouldnt look good painted (though I do have opinions) nor did I call you ricey.

And if Im one of the alleged **** talkers that youre gonna "show" when its done, come see me then.

Ive never been a fan of body kits and pointless spoilers....but to each his own. If you wanna make your car look like a jet....by all means, knock yourself out. Just dont get pissed if everyone doesnt agree or understand.

You may not agree with my decision to make power and keep appearances stock, and frankly I dont give a ****. Good luck with your project and all. I hope somewhere in the process you lighten up
