The cars that require a low impedence injector, are those that have a solenoid resistor. Whats a solenoid resistor, I just heard you say. It is about six inches long, an inch and a half wide. Its aluminium in color. Its attached to the fender, just below your afm/air filter. Has one large plug on it. YOU usually can spy it by looking under the afm/air filter from the front of the car. Shiney aluminium.

If your car has no solenoid resistor, then you have to have the 12ohm injectors.

I think the TED site has some info on the year. If I see it I'll post back. But a sure sign of the need for low impedence injectors is the aluminium covered solenoid resistor.

Another fairly sure way to tell is look at the electrical jack on the injectors. Stare at it and you'll notice a *tab* on the injectors jack. If the tab is centered on the injector, then its low impedence. If its offset from center, its high impedence. The connector that goes on the injector should have a notch for the tab on the injector. They should match the injecotor.

I'd check the solenoid resistor or the lack of .
