I just got my FC a few days ago and today is the first time I have had off work to mess with it. I was wandering how to get the shift **** off the shifter, I have tried everything but I can't get it off. Please help.

 

hi welcome to the forum. it should just come off if you turn it counter clockwise. it may be stuck so you relaly gotta turn it.

There's a jamnut under the ****. Turn the nut clockwise, and the **** will come off much easier....
