killed my CF dual friction
hi
ive just got done putting a CF dual friction in my TII last week and was cruising around feeding in a little power and engine flared up in 3rd (see vid 3:30) do you think that the friction material is now glazed over and ruined after that little incident?

Couple of things. First off you need to drive it below WOT full power for the first few hundred miles before WOT full power pulls to allow the clutch and flywheel to break in properly. What flywheel do you have? If you have a light weight flywheel, then there is less mass which means that you can heat soak the clutch fairly quickly.
Go easy on her the next few hundred miles to allow the disc / flywheel to work in with each other again. Patience is mandatory!
