exactly as it says...87 TII...and also on the left side of the ignition, that piece pops off pretty easy, the plastic that slides in behind the key...Any help appreciated, thanks

 

Pull the lock cylinder and take the thing apart. There are 6-7 tumblers in the cylinder and something must be causing one of the middle ones to be binding.

I re-keyed my door lock because the flapper broke off. It's not very difficult, but requires some patience.

 

Mine is stuck I can't get it out

Was fine no it's stuck in the on position and i can't pull the key out.

 

try turning the steering wheel back and forth while pulling it out....worth a shot

 

haha ya i tried that. I just broke the plastic around the steering column in a fit of rage. Then jiggled a few wires and tilted the steering wheel up and down a few times and made sure the tilt release was all the way up and the key came out.

 

i let my aunt borrow my car once and she managed to get the key out when it was still on accesory it was dinging like hell and i was like what and i took a look and the key was out but it was on acc but i just stuck the key in and turned it to off
thank god it didnt get stuck
