I'd like to buy an in dash monitor to put in my FC and I'm wondering what Kenwood model would fit in the radio slot. I was thinking a Kenwood DDX896 or DDX516 but I'm not sure what fits in there.

 

Have you seen how huge the stock radio is? A 2-din unit will fit fine with a kit.

 

and single or double din radio will fit, of course you will need the associated hardware to make it fit properly.

 

The Metra electronics kit will do double din or single din for our cars.

Do those models come with DIN cages or do they have to be ISO mounted? Sorry, too lazy to look them up.

 

Those radios will fit with the stock non cd player side attachments that come in the car. I have a ddx812 in mine and use those side parts that come in the fcs with tape decks.

Good luck getting the radio to sit properly in there though. As it needs some sort of bracket and I have yet to find a pre-made one for the fc.
