ACV removal problem
Ok.. so i tried to remove the acv and air pump today and when i finished i took her for a spin and out of no were......20 psi boost. what the hell is that about. i capped the acv.. removed the air pump and plugged the 3 vacuum lines that when to the acv. and i get a **** tone of boost. so i ended up having to put the acv back on just to get the thing to run normal. granted i still get a bit of boost creep since i havent ported my waste gate yet but its normal. so my question is what did i do wrong. and what do i need to do to successfully remove acv with no issues. my JDM airpump is no good so putting it back on is out of the question. and i dont have any cats so acv seems kinda pointless to keep

thats what i thought... so i checked the lines going to the waste gate and there was not a single line from the waste gate that was undone or messed with at all. i used an air nozzle to put pressure on the waste gate from the turbo duty solenoid and it opened the waste gate. then i applied pressure to the other line from the duty solenoid and the air exited from the check valve going to the tid. i also replaced the waste gate hoses since they were kinda old.
