keeping omp and premixing

So, my car is almost out of the shop (streetporting), and this came up. I'm keeping the oil metering pump. My question is, does it hurt/help anything by premixing as well (just a bit, not as much as would be without the omp). Just thinking over cautious I guess, and figured I'd get some opinions.

I wouldnt, if your going to premix remove your OMP. If your not going to remove your OMP then dont premix.

I don't think it'll do you any good, and could possibly do you worse. Over oiling is not a good thing.

It doesn't hurt unless we're talking extremes.
The target ratio is 400:1 if you're going to do this.

Yeah, i always thought that a little premix would help lubritaion, because the omp doesnt provide the same amount of oil to all of the engine. I used to do this because I wanted the extra protection of premix, but didnt want to totally remove the omp because of the possibility of the premix not getting put in (such as if someone else had to drive it)

yea, that's pretty much along the same lines as my thought process.
