okay just talked to my buddy and here's an application he did for an rx8 using a 4pot forged caliper shaving off about 13lbs a side...

Forged 4POT caliper w/ 13" x 1.25" rotors (directionally vaned) ~ $1300retail
Billet 6POT caliper w/ 13" x 1.25" rotors (directionally vaned) ~ $1600retail

the 4 pot he uses for this car has the same overall piston diameter as the 6 piston and uses the same pads so the overall performance should be the same.

FC 4 smaller piston > Rx-8 single bigger piston
