Tein??? No.

Try looking into something like SilkRoad. Spend the extra money if you can.

Teins are obviously proven, but could be a little expensive to some people. You could always buy used ones for cheap cheap, then spend the money on sending them to get rebuilt.

My friend has Silkroads on his 240, and it rides nice and handles well. Definate good bang for the buck.

my friend has megans on his 240 with sr20 in it and he daily drives it... they go really low and ride really well.. i plan on adding these to my fc TII. the megans are actuall the apexi n1 coilovers that megan bought the mold from and now sell them alot cheaper

thats a ricer myth. megan/d2/k-sport coilovers are all cheap **** knock off **** with ZERO R&D into them. they suck, and they fall apart usually after around one season. also, the bottom of the line teins arent much better.

not 800 dollars better. especially considering how long they DONT last. some nice shocks and springs for around 800 would be a much wiser investment.

some of the fc guys here did a group buy on the ksport coilovers, until now they haven't been disapointed so i don't think they're cheap **** like you said, ksport offers 3 different style coilovers, you picked wich one you want. you think 800$$$ is cheap, then you must be f**king crazy because you don't plant a stupid three and get money out of it. see the feedback on the group buy section for the ksport coilovers, i didn't saw anyone telling they're crab.

800 is cheap for coilovers. its extremely cheap. if you could buy a brand new full size car for 3000 dollars, would it not be cheap?

yes, but it depends on the present state of the car, i just think 1600 bucks and 2000 bucks for coilovers is just and insane price.

Well when you start going up in price you do get diminishing returns, but I think that $1600 coilovers are a better investment than $800 ones, for me anyway. I'd probably never be happy cheaping out on the suspension and I'd just replace them later on with something decent, and I'd be out more money in the end. You get what you pay for, if you buy cheap coilovers then don't expect them to last as long, have as good damping, or have as good customer service as the higher priced brand name stuff. I HIGHLY doubt if any of the cheap ones offer services such as revalving shocks, they probably just replace cartriges and would be unable to alter the damping on them.

I'll get something that's proven to work, proven to last, and proven to have good service available with revalving as an option. If it costs me twice as much, so be it, you gotta pay to play.

a bunch of guys on the 3000GT/Stealth boards had a group buy on K-Sports and after some redesigning by k-sport (in conjunction with a few of the members) everybody was very happy with the results.

I'm thinking of getting Ksports once I get the cash.

They in town for me and co-sponsor our drift events.

Some of the local 240 guys are using them and they seem to do pretty well.

i was told that if you take the lower sleeve off of the megans that you can still see the N1 logo on the bottom......it doesnt matter to me cause ive seen what the look like and seen how low and stiff they are.....

my friend has had them on his 240 for about 2 years now....
