2nd Gen:
1986-88 Series 4
1989-92 Series 5

The s5 engine has lighter rotors and higher compression and puts out about 20 more hp than series 4 of equal engine (n/a s4 140 hp, n/a s5 160), but they weigh about 250 lbs more.

I beleive that 1978-1981 (or 82) was the FA. The FB was 82-85. I want a 18 or 85 GSL-SE. It has a fist gen body, but a 13b instead of the 12a engine!

the 79-80's were SA
the 81-85's were FB

Major difference is body style, smaller engine differences...

The GSL-SE was a 4-port (like the turbo) 13B engine. They were offered in 84-85. I believe the made around 140 at the engine.
