Internally gated TD05 -16g Turbo's? SWEET =) RE Amemiya IC in the BG there? *If so I would kill for it*

Man you've got it lucky I had to build my setup.

I remember seeing it mentioned on here once before that RE amemiya once offered a twin turbo setup for the fc. Im not sure if this is it but its definitely not factory.

Looks nice. I have only heard of the FD being Twin turbo setup.

Once you get it in, get it to the dyno.

In refferrence to my first post , should read externally gated not internally gated, just noticed this typo now to late to edit it out. Turbo's may not be td05's though apon a 2nd look. Compressor housing looks to be a generation earlier. I forget what turbo's amemiya used to use on their FB and early FC TT setups.

Could you please take a pic of the IC, also a side on pic of the motor from the turbo side, so we can see the manifold design? Also a pic of the plate on one of the turbo's. Will be able to determine if it's an re amemiya setup by manifold design. Should most deffinately be a japanese motor considering the addition injector placement on the intake elbow.

Can't really tell much about the motor internally as setup's like these will vary apon customer requirements or tuning shop direction. Assuming solid internals with a stand alone comp, and the turbo's are what I presume should start seeing boost around 1800-2000 rpm and a max hp of about 350 flywheel hp on united states pump fuel.

Above is all assuming it's an amemiya setup. Honestly never heard of "arodyne". I've looked into japanese TT setup to much...

Rx7TyreBurna : FD's Twin turbo setup is completely differrent to this though =)

Cheers danew,

I'm unfamilar with that fc, aerodyne a united states tuning house? That motor just screams "Built by 90's japanese tuners".

I almost bought one similar setup from Tiger Japanese last summer.

Twin greddy's ran in sequence Yes, sequence. Primary turbo's outlet goes to secondaries inlet..........just nuts.

Hope you have fun with that engine - good luck
