The stock plastic panels under the relays and coolant overflow tank block off any airflow that would come up from underneath the middle area (before radiator). Airflow has to be coming from the sides, by each headlight, then over to the middle and into the stock snorkel. I pointed out earlier in the thread that trimming an inch or two off of the ends will allow these paths to open back up.
