just installed rebuilt injectors now my car doesn't run right
So here is what happened. the other day i took out the injectors on my 88 NA rx-7 to be rebuilt. they were rebuilt and i put them back in. Now unfortunately once it starts i have to immediately give it throttle to keep it over about 3500 rpm or it will die. I'm assuming that this means there is something wrong with my primaries and only the secondaries are working. Although i don't know why i installed them just as they came out and the car ran before with the injectors before they were rebuilt. So if anyone knows of any connections or hoses that might not have been connected when i put the intake and throttle body back on that would cause such problems that would be great to know
-thanks

I just completed that job a couple of weeks ago.
Any opening downstream of the AFM can serve as a vacuum leak. These include either end of the intake tube (clamps at AFM and throttle body); the AWS tube; failure to put in the 'baskets' under the fuel injectors; failure to reconnect the vacuum hoses correctly (though i doubt that could be big enough to cause a problem of the magnitude you describe). You can check for vacuum leaks with a can of carb cleaner, or an unlit propane torch, but beware the fire hazard.
