Nice position. I had never given thought to that space before. THough I wonder if it would have done just as well to have fabricated a place for that space on the dash where everyone breaks the fins...

That's clean! I like it!

Not sure I'd like the loss of my vent there on my daily driver, but the idea is stored for my project car.

Do your side vents actually work though? This winter they didn't do me any good since the tape on the inside had come off and the seal was bad.

Thanks, i have been thinkin if anyone has ever done it, i have never seen it done so i was like i wanna be diffrent. I gave my friend a call at al& eds he said he can do it so this is how. First you start with the gauge and the ac surrounding on the door....break the fins so the gauge fits. Make a ring that fits around the gauge, then get like i guess its like cyramics or molding and make it center, pack the open gaps with the molding and your done for the back. As for the front they just fiberglassed it and painted it....it looks ****** tight i'll get more 2morrow of just the pod. I'm glad you guys like it elt me know if u have anymore questions let me know and also if i dont make any since i never do sometimes. lol

Nice spot, I did a similar position on my rx-2. What did you use for the boost line? Silcon? Does it kink any when you close the door?

i hope you have some fuel upgrades or you i wouldnt plan on running more then 10psi on that 35psi gauge.

its good you got a gauge period... but why that one and not one that shows vaccume too?

IMO the normal 30vac/20psi gauge would have been a better choice.

good luck with all that.

hmm i was running this idea through my head also but a problem that i thought should be addressed is the constant slamming of the driver side door. i just dont think that a boost gauge would like to be jolted around like that but i may be wrong.
