Just hit 160,000 miles on my 88TII, then had my first 300+mi tank of gas:D

Thought that this was pretty cool. I just hit 160,000 on my 88TII (stock engine, S5 turbo, EBC, SAFC, exhaust, mostly minor mods). Then this week I got my first 300+mi tank of gas, averaging just over 23mpg. That's with a mix of city and highway, with some WOT runs in there for good measure.

Anyways, just thought I'd let you know you can have a high-mileage TII still run well (knock on wood)

That's awesome. Hopefully rotaries are like a good wine, they get better as they age. I'm still getting about 18mpg and 200miles a tank (if I fill it up at the 1/4 line) You are one lucky bastard.
