Thumbs up Just Have To Say Thanks

I recently bought an '86 n/a. Knew ZIP about rotaries. Thought it was great deal from orig owner (a grandma even) that hadn't driven it much in 2 years. I some found out that the coolant coming out of the overflow bottle wasn't from overheating. Registered here, found more info than a person can absorb, found AtkinsRotary, bought rebuilt motor, started remova/install 2 weeks ago tonight and spent the next 10 days getting my BUTT kicked. Where's the thanks you ask? My car would still be in the driveway (Probably in pieces) if it wasn't for the information that I found here. I can't remember everyone but I spent countless hours researching everything from flodding to compression to TPS adjustment to ACV removal, etc., etc.,etc.... I made myself the TPS light tester, the ECU Error Code Light thing, downloaded and printed the entire FSM and I haven't even gotten started!! Here's the skinny of the car apologize if the lingo isn't right but this is my first post. '86 n/a Atkins Rebuild w/stage 2 porting, comp clutch package, header w/modified cat, silicon vac lines and many other extras from Mazdatrix cat back sytem (Local muffler shop - way to loud), K&N air filter (Summitracing). It's running really nice, stills needs some fine adjusting, and I can't wait to be able to wood to it. Thanks to everybody who has taken the time to post things here. I can't tell you hiw much it has helped me and I'm sure countless other.

hey man, it's awesome that your work is goign so successfuly. I didn't personally help you, in fact I doubt I've helped anyone really. However, I second everything you said in your post. I've learned so much in the past week or so that I've been scanning and digging through this forum. I don't even own my rx7 yet but I just love reading this stuff. Thank ye to one and all you rotary masters

This forum has definitely saved my butt, and even helped me through my T2 conversion. I've been driving the car for 2 weeks now after a 7 month project (there was a lot more involved than just doing the T2 conversion, heheh).

That's the truth. I wouldn't have been able to work on my car at all without everyone's help at the forum, and their referals to other websites.
I just replaced my throttle cable, and am checking the TPS, so I'm sure I'll be posting some more help questions soon.
