I am about dead sure that Kevin Lander's car is a Canadian GTX aka Turbo II. He had it at Deal's Gap Rotary Rally this past year and the GTX stickers drew many inquiries.

I THINK the FD alternator needs to be modified slightly for it to fit the harness but i think an alternator shop can do this for you. You'll have to search though because i'm not 100% sure on that.

what are your plans for the car?
I think I've read that it's a straight bolt in, you have to get a different pulley though cuz the shaft is slightly larger and the FC pulley will underdrive it. Oh wait..... it's an s4, yea, nevermind, you gotta jack with the wiring just a tad.
Damn s4 losers.

The GTX is a JDM model.

We have the GX, GXL, and T2 up here, I've never heard of a GT in my life...

It's probably a GTR or GTX sticker than the previous owner just cut the third letter off of.

GT is a JDM trim level. Canadian trim levels are the same as US ones. My guess is that someone either replaced the fender or added the decal.

+1

GT, GTX, GT-Limited, etc. are all JDM trim lines. The car has just been badged.

because they moved to the US and wanted it to read correctly? its the same chance that someone swapped the guage cluster and moved as it is swapping stickers or fenders. its actually illegal to not have a speedo that reads in MPH.

Im not arguing or anything. just shooting out ideas.
